In the summer of 2018 Bebop Beatniks recorded the album “Leaves” at my HairyLarryLand studio. It was fun to work on some originals without the stage pressure of a live show. You will hear Sid Davis – trumpet, Tyler Remagen – sax, Emily Lindley – vibes, Alex Washam – drums, Paul Nunis – bass, and I’m on piano. At the time of the recording we were on summer break from classes at ASU, we were all students except for Paul who is on the faculty. Everyone solos except me. I wrote the song.
