Busking The Biscuit
Delta Legends played the Cedell Davis stage and its predecessor three times. Twice under my name, Hairy Larry, and the third time they finally got it right and we played as Delta Legends. That's John Shepherd, Jeremy Burnett, and Hairy Larry. Both John Shepherd and Rhode Island Red played the Quicksand Stage last year. I attended both concerts and sat in with Rhode Island Red.
Rhode Island Red and I played Bunky's, until they closed, as The Emporium Orkestra. Now we are playing at The Downtown Bar and Grill where I also played with my jazz band before the pandemic.
I have been a regular busker at The Biscuit both before and after they had busker permits. Once it was raining in the morning and I busked from the Main Stage. Once, early in the morning my son and I busked from the sidewalk with my friend, John Weston. I have busked with permits I got from Gregg Cook both with Delta Legends and with my jazz band.
I have been a regular performer at Fireman's Campground for over 20 years.
Last year I played three sets of chill jazz piano at Delta Dirt Distillery and I will be playing there again this year.
I love playing at The Biscuit and seeing all my friends, year after year.
