Happy New Year. Out with the old and in with the new. Looking forward to a year full of live music and livestreams. But we've got to get past the Omicron variant first. So on this January first I ask you all to stay safe and stay well.
I hope you had a great Christmas. We had all our kids and grandkids with us exchanging gifts outside. Doing our best to stay safe. Uldis flew in from Colorado and we all got to visit with him. He also got to play music with Brian Browder a couple of times so yay for Christmas and yay for music. I played chill jazz piano for the family on Christmas Eve afternoon, also outside.
At the end of 2021 because of the unseasonably warm weather I enjoyed playing music at the Craighead Forest Bandshell twice. They did a nice refurb on the bandshell and it looks great. I have been working on the whole issue of livestreaming from the bandshell with no success so far. I did, however, record the December 3 show.

This video is deep with Vivian on the right taking the photos on the left and in the photos on the left you can see the webcam taking the video on the right. Kind of like recursive mirrors in our brains.

It was great being back at the bandshell. I want to thank Robin and Jerry Gasaway for coming to enjoy the music and for all their help. Just like old times except we're older.
