Last day of Game Fest so I'm going to skip church to play games with my family. I am finishing my Something Blue radio production this morning so I don't have to worry about that and I can stay late and help them tear down if I'm able. It's been a great Game Fest with many memorable moments but the stand out moment for me was a B/X game with Carl, my son, DM and Corbin, my grandson and Carl's nephew, playing an elf companion to my player, Caper the halfling. Corbin, who is 7 going on 8, solved the big puzzle and poured the barrel of water into the dry fountain which restarted the fountain and opened the metal door to the room with the treasure. See? Great!
Game Fest is over and I got to play Chronicles Of Ember with Alan as well as a bunch of old school D&D (which is my bag) and a supernatural mystery. Great time playing games and I got input from 12 play testers on my new board game, 10Print - Maze Art & Tactical Combat. More soon.
